If you’re going to Paris, whether it’s your first time or you’re a returning visitor, you will most likely want to get some pictures of and/or with the Eiffel Tower. If you’re on the West Coast (whether you’re visiting or you live there), I would recommend a day trip of driving along the coast. Now, this particular activity may not be the cheapest, especially if you’re a traveler who would need to rent a car, but there are ways to try and offset the cost of this. And, if you are a local or a traveler who brought their car, this should be a bit easier.
Sometimes we can forget the beauty that is in our backyard when we’re planning, reminiscing, or dreaming of traveling to other places. In almost every place that is someone’s home, there are travels to be had that don’t require much actual travel. Following the theme of our latest post, today’s post is on another pair of twin-cities that are well worth your time and space on your travel bucket list. Champaign-Urbana is located in East Central Illinois and is best known for being the campus town of University of Illinois. However, these towns have much more to offer outside of university involvement.
Michigan is a popular place for tourists, especially in the Midwest. The state offers a lot of greenery and many fresh water beaches for Midwesterners who are looking for a vacation not too far from home. One gem of Michigan, which ranges from completely unknown to some and very well-known to others, is the twin city duo of Saugatuck and Douglas. Located right off of Lake Michigan’s eastern coast, these small cities have much to boast about, no matter what kind of traveler and vacationer you are.
